Dave White In August 2007, Wes Britton made his first guest appearance on this internet radio show, which broadcasts over the web out of Oroville, in northern California. The program is available in live streaming audio at the station's website. On October 9, 2007, Wesley began his new gig as occasional co-host on Talking Television. Episodes of the program can be found in the archive on the KSAV website. From the station's home page, click on Archives in the menu on the left side of the screen, then click on Talking Television with Dave White. The program's archived shows will be displayed. June 29, 2008, Tuesday; 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. (PST), 10:30 p.m. to midnight (EST): Host Dave White and guest co-host Wes Britton spent an hour talking with Roger Langley, author of Patrick McGoohan: Danger Man or Prisoner? (Tomahawk Press, 2007). Topics included McGoohan’s career, his characters “John Drake” (Danger Man) and “Number Six” (The Prisoner, and his guest roles on the Peter Falk detective series Columbo. In the program’s final segment, actor/writer Robert Winston Mercy joined Dave and Wes for a discussion of his autobiography I Hear No Bugles (Merriam Press, 2008). Guest co-host Wes Britton joined Dave White for a discussion of Lucille Ball and her impact on television. April 22, 2008, Tuesday; 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. (PST), 10:30 p.m. to midnight (EST): Guest co-host Wes Britton joined Dave White for conversation with Michael Karol, author of Lucy A to Z: The Lucille Ball Encyclopedia. In Part 1 of a 2-part edition, Dave, Wes, and Michael Karol discussed Lucille Ball and her impact on television. April 1, 2008, Tuesday; 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. (PST), 10:30 p.m. to midnight (EST): Dave White and guest co-host Wes Britton talked with writer Michael A. Hoey. Among Mr. Hoey's television credits are: The Rat Patrol, Get Christie Love, McCloud, and The Lazarus Syndrome, which he also produced. For five seasons, he wrote and directed episodes of the TV series Fame. His directorial credits include Falcon Crest, Dallas, Murder, She Wrote, and Blacke's Magic. Mr. Hoey has also written scripts for several Elvis Presley film and authored the book Elvis, Sherlock and Me. March 18, 2008, Tuesday; 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. (PST), 10:30 p.m. to midnight (EST): Wes Britton joined host Dave White for two guests: Thomas Pervanje, lead guitarist for the retro band, Spy-Fi, who discussed the way music composers contribute to the flavor of secret agent TV shows and films; and Rochelle Dubrow, author of A Collector’s Guide to ZORRO from the 50s & 60s, published through BearManor Media (March 2008). October 9, 2007, Tuesday; 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. (PST), 10:30 p.m. to midnight (EST): Wes joined Dave White as co-host for an interview with actor Robert Winston Mercy, who recounted many stories of his work on the TV series Combat (1962-1967), as well as Maverick (1957-1962) and Playhouse 90 (1956-1961).
