It’s Friday and you’re looking for a movie to sit down and relax. What’s better than watching a good spy moving? With many Spy movies around, there are several on the top of the list to watch. If you’re looking for a relaxing night in, here are some spy movies that will grab your attention. Bond and Mission Impossible are not included in this list as they are the obvious go to spy movies!

Bourne Identity

The Bourne Identity is about someone that has amnesia on a boat eliding assassins trying to get his memory back. The movie came out in 2002 and stars Matt Damon playing Jason Bourne as he is trying to discover his identity during a conspiracy with the CIA. Jason Bourne is near death in the ocean on an Italian fishing boat he fights the assassins it talks about his dangerous past. This movie continues to be popular since coming out Anne will surely keep you on the edge of your seat.

Spy

Spy with Melissa McCarthy and Jason Statham is about a CIA analyst who is deskbound and volunteers to go undercover to help catch a deadly firearms dealer to prevent a global disaster. The movie identifies how the CIA field agents Susan and Rick head to Paris to try and catch De Luca’s but find his office building was burned to the ground. The group continues to look for De Luca. Nancy, Susan’s best friend arrives in Paris to help Susan catch the terrorist. This movie is fun to watch, keeps your heart ticking, and it’s a film you will surely enjoy.

The Bourne Supremacy

The Bourne Supremacy, another great spy action thriller that came out in 2004 starring Matt Damon and Franka Potente. The plot is entirely different from The Bourne Identity as Jason Bourne and Marie Kreutz disappear in India. Jason gets flashbacks about his CIA life as an assassin and keeps a notebook about everything. He sees in his mind. A CIA agent working for Deputy Pamela Landy pays $3 million dollars to a Russian individual to steal files and $20 million from the years prior. Bourne identifies these individuals and flees the area with Marie. Marie is killed in the car even though Bourne was supposed to be killed. Bourne continues on the mission, kidnapping Nicky, but she reveals she has no true knowledge about the mission. When Bourne traveled to Moscow, he was found and wounded before fleeing again.

Kingsman: The Secret Service

Kingsman: The Secret Service is directed by Matthew Vaughn and came out in theaters in 2014. The movie stars Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong and is based on Gary who is recruited into the secret spy organization. The focus of the film is to try and take down a climate change maniac Richmond Valentine on a mission in the Middle East. Eggsy is a former Royal Marine even though he is very talented in gymnastics and parkour. He got arrested for stealing a car, but despite his past, he becomes a candidate for the Kingsman eliminating other candidates. Eggsy is left with another candidate named Roxy and the two compete for the position.
